Fostering
Well this weekend weight hard on my heart because we had a foster puppy named Garfunkel and we had to give him back because it was not working out with my dogs. He needed more then we could give him and so we had to bring him back. They understood but it still makes us feel really bad. He is a sweet boy that just needs a lot of attention. We are going to get new ones later this week. They will be younger. I love having puppies around my dogs because it good for them to understand that puppies just need some guidance.
Good luck to Garfunkel, we did enjoy the sweet boy he will be.

Events and TreatsEvents and Treats
This week starts off with getting ready for 2 craft shows this weekend. The first one is in Bloomington at the VFW, please come out and see us, and get your fur children some treats on top of that. Plus I als have Banana Bread for the humans that come by too for sale. I know whe going thru shows people want snack and I never bring any. We have made treat that hope fits all the different kinds of dogs. I know tht I love give my boys homemade treats, at least I know what they are eating. I know my family always wants me to make them for their animals too, which I like. Word of month goes a long way.
Well The open street event that was yesterday was good, I hope people came out and seen Garfunkel, He is a sweet boy that needs lots of play time. He loves walks and playing fetch and loves to be center of attention.

We got a new foster dog and his name is Peeta and he sweet, cuddly, shy. We will be going to are first event this weekend at Open Street – Lake street and Minnehaha. Peeta will be available for adoption thru Warrior Dog Rescue. Fostering is a great reward because you get to give love, socialize to a little one before it to goes to their furever home. Come and see him and there will be other ones their also.
You can also open you homes and heart and foster it’s the great feeling ever.
Open Street EventOpen Street Event
This weekend event was fun and hot. There was a lot of cute puppies including Peeta. Hope people got out and see what it was like. I know that I have never been to something like this so it was fun for me as well. There was so much to see there. It went from East Lake street down to 47th street. It was mostly on Minnehaha Ave.
The only one thing that my daughter and I did that was hard was walked most of it with Peeta which he only walk like 4 blocks. it was 2.7 miles from one end to where Warrior Dog Rescue was. I turned back around after 9 block and drove while she continue to walk the rest, she was brave. It was a lot for the puppies but they get a lot of people out to see them.
Over all a good weekend.
