Spring is in the air, but the weather doesn’t feel like it.

There is so much to do but hard to get outside work done when the weather is not the same as what it should be.

Here are a list of things we all need to start.

clean up any leaves for before winter, start planting if we are getting ready for gardens. cleaning out the garage with all the stuff we don’t need anymore. get mulch down before weeds grow.

this is a start I will be back with other tips we need to do.

To Do ListTo Do List

This past month I have been trying to get back on track with things. So I started to make lists. I have a cleaning list, meal planning , to do list. This has made it easy for me to remember what I need to do. Sometimes I get side tracked and I am not sure what I should work on next. I even made a budget so I can figure out ways to save money. Everyone would love to be debt free and save money too. It is not always that easy. It has been a work in progress for me. I find ways to sell things I don’t need anymore or if that doesn’t work I donate it to a good cause. The feeling that you get when you help out other ways is the best feeling you could have.

I am still in the working stages of this plan. I just know one day it will all be worth it to me. This year I even tried to start growing my own vegetables but something has always gotten in the way. I know that I still have time. I just take it one day at a time.

Just remember that you can do anything that you want, it just takes time. Thank you again for letting me do this.

Tough TimesTough Times

Today thought is that everyone has those tough days and it hard to get thru. I know I have them more often than I want too. I have ways that I have learned to deal with. I would like to share them with you so maybe I can help others.

Think about things that make you happy and make a list. I know that I have changed my over the years which you are going to. I have my go to ones that always are on my list that help. Everyone in my house leaves me alone and let me be. Plus there are bonus days which those days are the best.

So far the ones that I have learn that always make me happy is Baking, Reading and hanging out with my dogs, (and yes I talk to my dogs as well). The other things that help is coloring, putting a puzzle together, or even write to others to let them know that I am ok. I know this doesn’t work for everyone but I know that those things make me happy and when I can’t do them I get really down. I know when I have those days I clean and organize things in my house, which others know I am having a bad day.

Everyone has those days and that ok, it how we handle it that make it better, Sometime talking to someone that you know that will always be there for you and just listen to you is always good. Support system is always good. I have a few friends that I can do that to but sometime that just is not enough. I have to figure out what works for me.

Hard WeekHard Week

This last week went well, I stayed with my plan and got what I needed done. Mid week I could feel the change in me. I started to pull back on fun activities that made my life better.

I still continued what I needed to do and figured out a way to snap out of it.

I listened to a podcast and it helped. It is easier when you put your mind somewhere else for a little while.

I want to add on to what I have started this year, Along with my weekly cleaning list. I started going thru my stuff and found places that I could donate what I have. I started with Be an Angel -MN. She helps seniors which fits in with wanting to give back. I have a box of art & crafts, journals,etc. It is great when you have stuff you don’t use, but you know someone out there can.

One thing I am doing is getting back into having a little fun in life. I plan time to go out, watch a new show, and enjoy life a little more each day. My life is short enough. I want to live my life.
