Events and Treats
This week starts off with getting ready for 2 craft shows this weekend. The first one is in Bloomington at the VFW, please come out and see us, and get your fur children some treats on top of that. Plus I als have Banana Bread for the humans that come by too for sale. I know whe going thru shows people want snack and I never bring any. We have made treat that hope fits all the different kinds of dogs. I know tht I love give my boys homemade treats, at least I know what they are eating. I know my family always wants me to make them for their animals too, which I like. Word of month goes a long way.
Well The open street event that was yesterday was good, I hope people came out and seen Garfunkel, He is a sweet boy that needs lots of play time. He loves walks and playing fetch and loves to be center of attention.

Today was a great day, our foster dog Peeta went to his forever home. We are so happy for him. He is going to be spoiled and loved so much. He will be missed. We still have another one, his name is Garfunkal and he is a sweet boy He will be at the open street event August 5th. Garfunkel will be there from 11-2 come out and see him you will see how sweet he is.
Plus we are hard at work trying t get ready for next week craft shows. So we are baking like crazy. Dog treats are so different then making human treats. I enjoy baking either one. I will post later this week more detail about the sale.
Getting bac on track with family is hard to do. I have tried to reach out and sometime it hard when they don’t respond to you, you start to think “did I do something wrong”, “why are they not talking to me” I know that go thru my head. what help me is my boys, because no matter what they are love me no matter what.
Well I let yuo know how the event go and keep up with life, there is a lot of living to do out there.
Open Street EventOpen Street Event
This weekend event was fun and hot. There was a lot of cute puppies including Peeta. Hope people got out and see what it was like. I know that I have never been to something like this so it was fun for me as well. There was so much to see there. It went from East Lake street down to 47th street. It was mostly on Minnehaha Ave.
The only one thing that my daughter and I did that was hard was walked most of it with Peeta which he only walk like 4 blocks. it was 2.7 miles from one end to where Warrior Dog Rescue was. I turned back around after 9 block and drove while she continue to walk the rest, she was brave. It was a lot for the puppies but they get a lot of people out to see them.
Over all a good weekend.
Fostering and FamilyFostering and Family
I just have to say that since we gave back our foster dog it been busy getting ready for a luncheon birthday party. Which is coming up. I am exciting about this because it getting together with family and friends and having a nice time. plus we are getting new foster puppies. Yes we are taking on 2 new puppies that are around 8 weeks old and we are temp foster one until tuesday so we will have 3 for a few days. This luncheon is about 2 birthday (1 that was in july and 1 that in september) we re doing this instead of going out to dinner which I love the idea. I know not everyone is on board with it, but it not about them it about the birthday people.
So I am doing most of the side dishes and one of the desserts. which as much of you know I love to cook and bake. I have other bring the main part the meat. which is ok in my book. well after we get the new foster I will put them out there and show them off.
