Who is Family?

Today I want to talk about family and friends. There are those you have that are family, but there are friends that you concert to be family. I know I have a few friends that I have more of my family than the ones that are family. I know the friends that I do have will be there for me faster than family members that I have. I want to help my family and the ones that I concert to be my family if I can. It is hard at times to spend time with everyone, but if I have learned anything with my health it is that I can count on a few.

There are people out there who don’t concern their pets as family but I know that I do. It is amazing what dogs know without saying anything at all. My dogs know when I need to have them close to me and the times that I need my space. That is why a lot of people have therapy animals. I know that there are times it is hard to get out of my house and not be judged. I do what I have to do to get thru my day. It is not always easy but I want to help.

If there was a way I could help without leaving my house I would do it. Everyone needs help in one way or another. I treasure my friends that are in my life. I know that I can’t see them as much as I would like to but I know they are there.

Thank you again for letting me do this, it is a great journey I am on and I can’t wait to see where else it takes me.

Healthy EatingHealthy Eating

As I learn to eat better I think about what is healthy and what is not something I need. I know there are all kinds of diets out there but that is not the kind I need. I don’t need to lose weight I need to put healthier foods in my body. I agree with some of the things others do like planting your own fruit and vegetables. But homemade is the best because then you know what is going on to the dish you are making. I think getting meat from somewhere you know that it is grass fed and how it is raised is an excellent source.

When it comes to eating, everyone will do things differently. I know that food is costing more, so we all need to find ways to eat health and save money at the same time. It is not easy for me as well. I have to find things that do more than one thing for me.

I know that I am trying but it is not easy for me. I try to make better meals and go out less cause you never know what is in when you order. This last year has taught me a lot about some people and what they believe in. I can’t always believe in the same thing but I can agree with some of it.

If you have land do what you can to make the most of it and grow what you want to eat. It is more healthier, plus it turns out you can learn new things on top of that like canning which is a good source.

I know next year I am going to try new things and learn new skills. I have what I want to do and I hope that things go my way for once and I can.

Minnesota State FairMinnesota State Fair

The great minnesota get together, it is 12 days of fun and exciting things to do. You can spend all day there and still not do eveything. There is so much foods that you can try and you never try it all. Every year my daughter and I go and spend a long day there and she tries to eat as much as she can. it never works, but this year was different she tried a lot of new things and still had some favorites. The corn on the cob is really good, if you never been to Minnesota come the week before Labor day and it will be on, it always that the end of August and the begin of September. If you don’t like crowds you won’t enjoy your self because each day it busy. There is alot of people go more then one day but that all I can take. So everyone go and have some fun and don’t worry about anything else.

Monday Dinner

This week I have been making new dinners and made a new change. I was tired of buying junk food and it just sitting around and not get eaten. So I am not buying junk food so if my family wants Sweets or snacks they can have Fruit or Vegetables. The other options was I am going to plan dinners for the week and make a desert or cookies or something for the week. Monday I made my first one after I got the dinner all ready.

I could eat this one because it had cheese and I can’t have dairy.

Eat week it fun make a list of dinners and desert and going shopping for anything I need if any.
